"Loveland Ranch"

The historic Loveland Ranch Headquarters anchors the southern portion of the main ranchunit of the Harney Peak Ranch. This is currently the livestock headquarters for theranch. In past times it was used by A. E. Hindman (shown below) and others as anelite hores breeding establishment. The largest Russian Olive tree in the UnitedStates is a testament to the valley's fertile outwash delta soil. The property isapproximately 460.83 acres in size.
The landhas a share of the 581 acres of combined water rights of the Loveleand and Brennan ValleyRanchs. The property has extensive livestock facilities including stockwatersystems, calving barns and corrals, feeding and processing corrals and lots and"state-of-the-art steel working chutes. The house has a log exterior withhandcrafted log detailing on the porch, deck and eaves.
The higher ground above the valley consists primarily of rolling ridges and plateauswith spectacular views of Harney Peak and the Badlands to the east. It will alsooverlook Brennan Valley Ranch and its potential future lake. Wildlife from mule deerto antelope inhabit the breaks and valleys.
The site is one of several that have been studied as a potential golf courselocation but with unique Black
